The acupuncture point "LV 6" , 中都, is represented by "Zhong Du" in pinyin and "Central Metropolis" in english and may be found:

7 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus on the midline of the medial surface of the tibia.


Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Acute hepatitis.
  • Pain along the channel, genital region or medial knee.
