TH 8 Acupuncture Point Applications and Theory

The acupuncture point "TH 8" , 三陽絡, is represented by "Sanyangluo" in pinyin and "Three Yang Connection" in english and may be found:

4 cun above TH 4 between the radius and ulna.

Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Sudden deafness, acute or chronic loss of voice, apahsia, combine with HT 5 & CV 23.

While not necessarily valid clinically, LI 7 (Xi Cleft Point useful for pain due to stagnation …) and SI 7 (Local point for pain and/or strength/control issu…) are nearby.
