The acupuncture point "UB 52" , 志室, is represented by "Zhi Shi" in pinyin and "Will Chamber" in english and may be found:

3 cun lateral to GV 4, level with L2.


Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Reinforce the KD Back Shu (UB 23) for fertility issues (impotence, infertility) a/or urinary issues especially from damp heat or KD Qi or Yang deficiency (incontinence, dribbling urine).
  • Local Point.


Ub 52 has the following theoretical associations which serve as important guideposts in designing an effective treatment protocol:
