EX Heding Acupuncture Point Applications and Theory

The acupuncture point "EX Heding" is represented by "Heding" in pinyin and "Top Crane" in english and may be found:

In a depression at the midpoint of and superior to the patella.


Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Knee issues - pain, stiffness, tension

While not necessarily valid clinically, SP 10 (Any Gynecological issues originating from Blood, …), ST 35 (Knee problems.  Often used with heding and the me…) and UB 40 (As the Lumbar Command Point, useful for all lumba…) are nearby.
