  • Avoid with yin deficiency, empty heat signs

Xian Mao Clinical Usages and Indications

  • Tonify kidney, strengthen yang - impotence, urinary incontinence, nocturnal emission, infertility due to cold womb (woman) or cold jing (man).
  • Expel cold, eliminate damp - bi with generalized pain, pain and/or weakness in the bones and sinews, lower back and knee pain, cold abdomen.

  • Generally not for longer term use.
  • The daily dose should be respected as high doses can cause limb numbness, loss of consciousness and swollen tongue among other symptoms.

      • Menopause symtpoms including hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, restlessness and anxiety as a result of yin deficiency.  
      • Can be used for other yin deficient symtpoms such as tinnitus, dry skin, and lightheadedness.

    • Cautions
      • Use with caution during pregnancy.
      • Do not use if patient presents with true heat or exterior heat.

    Nuan Gong Yun Zi Wan

    • Warm Uterus & Conception Pills
      • Infertility, history of miscarriage due to blood deficiency and/or cold in the lower jiao from kidney yang deficiency.
      • Irregular menstruation.
      • Lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, uterine and/or ovarian pain.
    • Invigorate the Blood
    • Warm the Menses and Dispel Blood Stasis
