Extraordinary Vessel Treatments - Diagnosis and Treatment - Step One - TJM Theory
The first step in the extraordinary vessel (ion pumping cord) treatment is to use abdominal diagnosis to determine the primary pattern of the patient. The primary pattern describes the treatment points to use and by monitoring the abdominal areas related to the pattern you can determine the efficacy of your treatment. Generally a #2 or smaller gauge needle is used for the initial treatment with the cords and the needles are retained for 5-15 minutes. The primary patterns along with their corresponding abdominal areas, treatment points and associated conditions are listed below. For student/practitioner use we also have teh following PDF printouts which may be helpful (basic, advanced I, advanced II).
